1. Due to its flexibility, this product is easy to install. For pipe installation, it can be installed together after being put on, or the pipe material can be cut longitudinally and then bonded with molybdenum foil tape. For valves, tees, elbows, and other composite parts, the sheet material can be cut and bonded according to different shapes to ensure the tightness of the entire system, thereby ensuring the heat preservation of the entire system. The use of elastomeric insulation pipes is very safe; it will not irritate the skin nor harm health. They prevent mold growth, avoid pest or rodent gnawing, and are acid and alkali resistant, with superior performance. These properties make elastomers an ideal insulation material for protecting pipes, preventing them from being corroded by atmospheric media or industrial environments.
2. Calculate the thickness of the insulation material using the "economic thickness" method, and verify its surface temperature using the heat balance method (this temperature should not exceed the dew point temperature of the ambient air).
